TEAM SELECTIONS

Congratulations to our U15 Girls team who will play their first game against West Torrens this Saturday. The side consists of a number of debutants for the club as well as some returning players from last season.

Congratulations to Tori Young (pictured) & Jaagriti Vassist on being selected as captain and vice-captain's for the season.

The club would also like to thank the enormous effort put in by coach, John Lonergan, on rebuilding our girls cricket program to not only ensure our club has girls/womens cricket but also that there is an opportunity for girls in the Southern area to play Premier Cricket.

Match Presentations this Saturday at the club

Southern District Cricket Club invites all Senior and Junior players, parents, and volunteers to our first Match Presentations of the season, for rounds 1-3, this Saturday night at Bice Oval.

With the fixtures across all grades not aligning often it makes it impossible to have presentations after every round and so there will be 4 presentation nights this season, each covering multiple rounds.

There will be Pizza available for $5 per person, and this gets you as many slices as you'd like.

The bar will also be open so be sure to come down to the club on Saturday night and celebrate some brilliant individual and team performances across the opening rounds of the season.

Jake Marnie to Debut - 1st XI Player #167

Southern District Cricket Club congratulates Jake Marnie on becoming the clubs 167th First Grade Player.

Jake joined us from Victoria this year, bringing with him a wealth of experience in Victorian Premier Cricket. Jake immediately impressed with the bat and was selected in the One Day Cup match against Glenelg last week, where he top scored. Jake will make his official first grade debut this weekend against Prospect.

Congratulations Jake and all the best for your debut
