Congratulations to Tori Young (pictured) & Jaagriti Vassist on being selected as captain and vice-captain's for the season.
The club would also like to thank the enormous effort put in by coach, John Lonergan, on rebuilding our girls cricket program to not only ensure our club has girls/womens cricket but also that there is an opportunity for girls in the Southern area to play Premier Cricket.

Match Presentations this Saturday at the club
Southern District Cricket Club invites all Senior and Junior players, parents, and volunteers to our first Match Presentations of the season, for rounds 1-3, this Saturday night at Bice Oval.
With the fixtures across all grades not aligning often it makes it impossible to have presentations after every round and so there will be 4 presentation nights this season, each covering multiple rounds.
There will be Pizza available for $5 per person, and this gets you as many slices as you'd like.
The bar will also be open so be sure to come down to the club on Saturday night and celebrate some brilliant individual and team performances across the opening rounds of the season.

As a Coaching Philosophy I continually emphasise managing our Emotional Brain (Amygdala) and allowing our Decision Making Brain (Frontal Cortex) to be dominant. Combined with your body energy and force moving in the right direction in everything we do.
Next 2 sessions are down at Victor Harbor Recreation Centre to attract more Fleurieu based players, see post further down for days and times.
